Montenegro becomes Russia’s window of opportunity?

Montenegro is still under great fear of possible closure of Aluminium Plant in Podgorica, which counts for 50% of Montenegro’s export. The Plant known as “KAP” is owned by Russian billionaire Mr Oleg Deripaska, who plans to shut it down, due to financial problems, caused by global economic crisis. But, International Herald Tribune recently brought very interesting story about Russian investments in Montenegro, and its possible political impacts. Interesting article and an eye opener to the situation Montenegro finds itself in, caught geographically, politically and economically between the big boys. In the end it will be business that wins the vote and so far it looks like the EU is loosing.
